Progress Teachers are seeking a dedicated and proactive Inclusion Centre Manager to join a team at a well-regarded secondary school in Birmingham. This Ofsted-rated "Good" school is part of a highly respected trust, committed to providing an inclusive, supportive environment for all students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the Inclusion Centre, providing targeted support for students facing barriers to learning.
* Develop and implement effective intervention strategies to support students with a range of needs, including SEMH, SEND, and EAL.
* Work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and external agencies to support students’ academic and social development.
* Monitor and evaluate the impact of intervention programs, ensuring they align with school policies and government guidelines.
* Mentor and support students in developing positive behavior, self-regulation skills, and social interactions.
* Oversee the assessment and tracking of student progress, providing regular reports to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Essential Requirements:
* Relevant qualifications in education, SEND, or a related field.
* Experience working in an educational or pastoral support setting, ideally in a secondary school.
* Proven ability to engage and motivate students, especially those with additional needs.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working with staff, parents, and external professionals.
Desirable:
* Experience in managing staff or volunteers.
* Understanding of multi-agency working and safeguarding practices.
