Role Description...
We Care Bespoke are looking for Support Workers who can help young people engage with day-to-day activities. These tasks could include anything from - learning independent living skills to fun days out doing swimming, soft play, trampolining, and attending local groups. You will work in partnership with parents and carers to aid integration into the community alongside improving their mental and physical wellbeing. Ideally, we are looking for candidates who can work evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities...
- Conduct outreach activities to promote public health programmes and services
- Develop and maintain relationships with community members, stakeholders, and partner organisations
- Supervise outreach team members and coordinate their activities effectively
- Manage administrative tasks related to outreach projects
- Utilise social media platforms to engage with the community and disseminate information
- Educate individuals on health-related topics and resources available
- Organise and participate in fundraising events to support outreach initiatives
What we would like from you...
* 12 months experience working as a Support Worker or similar role.
* A driver with access to your own vehicle.
* Knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding procedures and practices.
* A relevant qualification, such as NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care
