About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties) Teaching Assistant. You will support students with complex learning needs, helping to create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment tailored to individual abilities and goals. Working closely with teachers and other support staff, you will assist with daily activities and sensory learning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-on-one and group support to students with PMLD, adapting activities to meet unique learning requirements.
* Assist in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) and tracking student progress.
* Facilitate sensory and interactive learning experiences that stimulate engagement and cognitive development.
* Collaborate with the teaching team and communicate regularly with parents or caregivers.
Desirables:
Experience is desired but not essential although you must have a passion for working with children in education.
The ability to drive is desired but not essential.
