Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Apprenticeship Trainer to deliver high-quality training and support to apprentices in residential childcare settings. This role is essential in equipping apprentices with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in their careers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective training sessions for apprentices in residential childcare.
- Develop and adapt training programmes to meet the unique needs of each learner.
- Monitor apprentices’ progress and provide constructive feedback to aid their development.
- Keep training materials current and aligned with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with employers to support apprentices’ practical, on-the-job learning.
- Maintain accurate records of apprentices’ achievements and progress.
- Stay informed of industry trends to continually enhance your role.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in residential childcare management (Essential)
- Recognised teaching or training qualification (Essential)
- Ability to teach up to Level 5 Residential Childcare
- Strong knowledge of apprenticeship standards in residential childcare (Essential)
- Ability to inspire and motivate learners as an apprenticeship coach (Essential)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (Essential)
- Commitment to continuous improvement in your role as a Trainer (Essential)
