Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant (TA)
Hours of Work: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Term Time
Pay:£85-£100 per day

About the role:
We are seeking a Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team on a part-time basis (3 days per week) starting January 2025. This position is a new addition to the team to provide essential support for booster sessions and targeted interventions, particularly for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
You’ll work in a class of 25-30 students alongside a supportive teacher to help students reach their full potential in core subjects like literacy and numeracy. This role offers a fulfilling opportunity to make a real difference, with the chance to build strong, positive relationships with students in need of focused attention and personalized learning strategies.
Application Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within Key Stage 2.
• A solid understanding of SEN needs and interventions, with experience in booster sessions highly valued.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with both students and teachers.
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
• An understanding of the UK primary curriculum and experience implementing various teaching techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting the classroom teacher in delivering targeted booster sessions and interventions.
• Working with small groups or individual students to reinforce lesson content and develop core skills.
• Providing additional support for students with SEN, adapting materials and approaches as needed.
• Assisting with classroom organization, lesson planning, and resource preparation.
• Monitoring and documenting students’ progress, offering feedback to the teacher, and contributing to lesson adjustments.
