Overview
Responsible for general technical support for students, faculty and staff of the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine/ Imaging School (1000+ users).
Responsibilities
Responsible for general technical support, to include, but not limited to as much of the following as possible:
Administers all smart-podiums, troubleshooting all Audio-Visual issues in lecture halls, labs and classrooms.
Respond to service tickets.
Performs installation, configuration, deployment and troubleshooting of desktop/laptop computers and peripherals
Administers Print Server and printing management software
Administers E-Mail listserv for faculty, staff and student body
Troubleshoots network (wired and wireless) related issues.
Technical support for Medical Simulation Machines.
Assists students and instructors with Canvas and clicker issues.
Assist students with Exam issues· Troubleshoot Zoom issues.· Other duties as required
Qualifications
Education/ Experience
Bachelor of Science preferred.
At least 3 years of IT experience.
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities
Demonstrated proficiency in communication (written and verbal) required
Customer service and team orientated required
A high degree of interpersonal competency: professionalism, diplomacy, judgement and discretion required
Demonstrated ability to develop positive and cooperative relationships with students, faculty, and colleagues required
Networking, DNS, DHCP, LDAP, TCP/IP
Knowledge of Windows Workstations/Servers, Linux Servers (preferred) and Mac OSX.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, & Outlook
Basic understanding of Audio-Visual equipment.
Internet research
Physical Demands
Extensive time sitting and standing
Ability to lift 10 lbs.

Maximum Salary
USD $50,715.00/Yr.
Minimum Salary
USD $40,572.00/Yr.
