As an Investment Analyst - Institutional Defined Contribution within the PNC Asset Management Group Investment Office organization, you will be based in Indianapolis, IN. Other PNC locations within the PNC Asset Management Group footprint will also be considered.

The position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion.

This position works as part of an investment service team in the AMG Investment Office reporting to the Investment Director for Institutional Defined Contribution Plans, and supports a growing business. You will work closely with the Institutional Asset Management Retirement Plan Advisors and Business Development Officers, and vendor systems to create reports and other information that support Fiduciary Investment Services to Defined Contribution Plan clients. You will be responsible for coordinating ongoing investment due diligence processes for our FIS Investment platform, updating internal and external vendor systems, as well as preparing client deliverables and communications to the Retirement Plan Advisors.

Preferred experience/skills:

•Investment due diligence

•Experience with attribution analysis to prepare written analysis followed by writing commentary

•Experience with mutual funds, CIT’s or other investments used by Defined Contribution plans

•Morningstar Direct, Morningstar Report Portal and Morningstar Presentation Studio

•fi360’s FirmPlus interface and Seismic a plus

•Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas, advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, and macros to assist with for data analysis and quality assurance

•Strong verbal and written communications skills

•Ability to juggle projects along with daily tasks and adapt to, and embrace change

•Creative problem-solving skills, able to meet deadlines and strong client focus

•Strong work ethic with examples of past successes

•AIF, CFA or CIMA designation or in process of obtaining a plus

Job Description

Leads project initiatives related to the integrated advisor workstation and the investment advisor function. Defines future development and strategic direction using a combination of experience and feedback. Serves as a subject matter and technical resource for strategic investment initiatives. Develops and delivers functional training.

Responsible for development of applications as well as ongoing support. Defines business and functional requirements. Works with end users to understand future development needs. Works with internal and external technology partners on the design and development of the application.

Coordinates interaction between investment services and strategy and the advisors in the field. Supports the advisor on client requests for new business or specific client issues. Oversees and leads the complex resolution of issues. Responsible for effective communication on issues to all functional advisors.

Serves as lead functional expert for the investment management workstation and other strategic investment initiatives, as required by the business. Proactively identifies, resolves or escalates risk management issues. Partners with risk management to assess and determine appropriate action on risk issues.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $55,000.00 – $124,800.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
