This a Temporary Position during Summer 2025

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist with congestion management activities

Assist with development of price forecasting model

Assist with development of portfolio optimization strategies

Perform analysis on existing strategies

The ability to handle stress and work well with others are essential functions of this position.

Due to our obligation to provide continuous, reliable electric service to our customers, the ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance and the ability to work outside your regularly scheduled office hours when necessary is an essential function of the job.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Math or Economic related field

REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

PREFERRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Pursuing an Engineering degree with an ABET accredited program.

Semi-repetitive, low physical. Semi-repetitive type work which requires periods of concentration for varied time cycles as prescribed by the tasks.

While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision; distance vision

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Technologically adept and intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills

Exceptional analytical, mathematical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Extremely detailed and accuracy oriented

Good communication skills

Self-starter and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
