Job Description

**Job Title:** Interventional Radiology Technologist

**Job Specialty:** Interventional Radiology

**Job Duration:** 13 weeks

**Shift:** Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 16:30)

**Guaranteed Hours:** Not specified

**Experience:** Minimum 18 months experience required, with specific exceptions depending on the unit.

**License:** Must have Indiana or compact license in hand to apply. For start dates 4+ weeks out, must have started the licensing process.

**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS required

**Must-Have:** COVID-19 vaccine required. Flu vaccine required with medical or religious exemptions accepted with a doctor’s note.

**Job Description:**

- On-call required one evening every week and every fourth weekend.
- Experience in ablations and implants, including ICD, PPM.
- Structural Heart procedures: TAVR, LAAO.
- STEMI call required.
- Interventional Radiology and Peripheral Vascular procedures: ports, drains, biopsies, central lines, thrombectomy, PCI, dialysis access issues.
- Pre/Post area conducts bedside TEEs and cardioversions.
- Compliance with travel requirements: SSN and DOB required at submission.
- Willingness to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliated hospitals.
- Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
- Orientation of 12 hours provided.

**Additional Notes:**

- Travelers' education must be from an accredited university by ACEN or CCNE at the time of graduation.
- Local travel guidelines apply; certain positions may accept local travelers.
- Two supervisor references required.
- Prior permanent or PRN employees must be away for 12 months before applying as a traveler.
