Job Description

Hays Italy, part of the multinational Hays group, a company listed on the London Stock Exchange, offers consultancy services in the Information Technology sector with the aim of contributing to the success and technological progress of individuals and companies, is looking for an Anti-Piracy Manager. We are looking for an experienced operational, analytical, and project specialist to support content protection operations and strategy. Your role will be to support the business in executing highly effective technical and operational solutions to deal with piracy challenges. You will be able to collaborate with functions across the business, optimizing operational processes to drive the anti-piracy agenda; working collaboratively with Operations, Security, Product, Technology, Legal, and Commercial stakeholders. You will contribute to regular reports that are sent directly to the most senior executives across the business. The Anti-Piracy Manager role is a unique opportunity for the right candidate who understands piracy and is passionate about defeating pirates who steal and get rich off other people’s content. Your role will be to support the anti-piracy function, working with teams across the business in the following key areas: Operations - Support live anti-piracy operations, reporting processes, and supplier coordination; providing oversight during major events and ensuring effective processes are in place to deal with the threat of piracy in real-time. Must have excellent presentation skills. Stakeholder management – work directly with the regional CEO to provide timely and accurate information on the efficacy of the global teams efforts. Work to provide a key bridge into the French market, identifying regional differences unique to Italy. Content coverage and scheduling - Review content coverage requirements and ensure protections are in place where obligated; managing scheduling with suppliers to achieve results within agreed budgetary controls. Data and reporting - Gather and synthesize data into quantitative reports and illustrating volumes and key trends, ensuring that the business achieves its anti-piracy KPIs and helping optimize our anti-piracy strategy. Threat analysis and assessment – Collaborate with security and fraud teams to identify and track threats and patterns, and coordinate response and relevant actions to reduce vulnerability. Project management - Ability to collaborate and stretch your focus across key business areas including Operations, Technology, and Security; managing inputs from all stakeholders and creating clear actions to ensure the business is delivering its strategy. This role may require scheduling flexibility to accommodate coverage during key live events. You’ll be set up for success if you have: Experience with digital live operations. Familiarity with digital piracy. Strong knowledge of social media platforms and tools. Proficiency with data analytics and visualization tools. Even better if you have: Experience in the content protection or anti-piracy spaces. Experience with social media platform content protection tools such as YouTube Content ID and Facebook Rights Manager. Threat assessment and intelligence gathering experience. Experience synthesizing large datasets and creating dashboards. Broadcast, sports, or OTT industry experience. We also consider collaborations with PIVA registered professionals (freelance).
