Job Overview and Responsibilities

Syensqo is creating its internal Global Business Services (GBS) to cover Finance, Procurement, and Human Resources activities. We offer you to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment and to contribute to this group’s transformation.

Join us in one of our 3 service centers: Lisbon, Curitiba, and Bangkok, and be part of this transformation journey from the start.

The incumbent will be responsible for the provisioning of Genex, IT, Industrial, and Packaging domains to ensure on-time and in-full delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Review purchase requisitions against given criteria (quality and proper approval)
2. Turn purchase requisitions into purchase orders
3. Ensure the vendors receive the Purchase Orders on-time
4. Follow up on Purchasing Orders by collecting supplier acknowledgment
5. Follow up Purchase Order delivery, only if specifically requested by the Business
6. Respond to and resolve Users and Vendors inquiries
7. Coordinate resolution through various direct contacts in Syensqo, making proposals to address root causes, to reduce errors or gaps in the future
8. Identify trends, analyze root causes, and propose improvements to Team Leader
9. Ensure on-time and in-full delivery of Goods and Services
10. Monitor vendor delivery performance
11. Perform controls following corporate procedures and compliance rules
12. Participate in specific process improvement projects
13. Implement and follow up the Group internal control rules, policies, and procedures, within own operations responsibility

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree with at least 2 years of business/technical training
Experience in procurement/expediting

Experience in using SAP

Good level of oral and written communication skills

Ability to work independently and take initiatives

• Understanding of tool management preparation and knowledge of the procurement process
• Good communication skills, with a supporting mindset
• Problem-solving capabilities
• High level of initiative
• Quick learner/willingness to learn and develop
• Autonomous

Must-have language skills

Fluent in English (both written & spoken)
