Event Marketing Manager

Up to £42,000 per annum

Hybrid - located in Central Surrey


In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape marketing strategies across a diverse portfolio of events and grow your career to play a key role in expanding the company brand.


Our growing, entrepreneurial client is looking for a driven Event Marketer who is passionate about building strong relationships, taking charge of dynamic projects, and boosting audience engagement.

Opportunity: Build your B2B network with a well-connected team and client established clients. You will manage a portfolio of existing events and new event launches, as well as championing the company brand.


Key responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end campaign execution, including planning, copy and creative production, implementation and performance tracking for existing events.
  • Leverage various marketing channels, predominantly email marketing, social media, paid advertising, content marketing and partnerships to reach and engage target audiences.
  • Create exprom, visprom, conversion and exhibitor news emails.
  • Manage social media activity, including content creation, scheduling, and audience engagement.
  • Create diverse content (videography, photography, graphics and other visual media) and engage in live marketing content creation during events.
  • Co-ordinate design, produce and distribute of promotional materials and adverts.
  • Support with development of print-ready show guide for each event.
  • Ensure the website is up-to-date with logos, speakers details and general event content as it becomes available and changed over after each event.
  • Write clear, concise copy for all forms of marketing communications.
  • Work with Head of Marketing to support delivery of partner marketing initiatives across a range of owned and partner marketing channels.
  • Researching competitor and market trends and report to Head of Marketing.
  • Process and manage data within CRM and email marketing platforms.
  • Support research and insight projects related to customer experience or brand development/enhancement including post-event surveys, certificates and registration forms.
  • Develop on-site marketing assets including on-site print/digital graphics, digital screens and other branded assets.
  • Work on-site at events carrying out various duties where required.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends and best practices.


What we need from you:

  • Be able to work independently, meeting project deadlines
  • Have a keen interest in marketing and marketing technology
  • Have a keen interest in the review and interpretation of marketing analytics
  • Have a keen interest in live events
  • Be able to multi-task and have excellent attention to detail
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Have a working knowledge of Canva - Have a good understanding of social media
  • Have a good understanding of email marketing tools Qualification/Experience
  • Have a minimum of two years’ experience in events marketing
  • GCSE or equivalent – English and Mathematics at grade B/7 or above
  • Level 4 or above business or marketing qualification or above (preferred)
