Business Development Manager - Engineering/Construction
BRIEF OVERVIEW
Our client is looking for an energetic individual to join their team ideally with a technical background. The individual will be responsible for the development and growth of the existing customer base and the identifying and winning of new business across the UK. This is an entry level sales role and would suit either a graduate or someone with a few years sales experience.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Identifying new business areas and revenue streams
Follow up on all sales leads related to enquiries
Manage existing clients to ensure complete customer satisfaction and the opportunity to build solid long-term relationships, whilst identifying further sales opportunities
Develop excellent understanding of the marketplace and the competitors within that space
Cross-sell products and services to existing customers
Co-ordinate activities to achieve agreed goals and exceed targets
Attend on-site client sales visits when required
ABOUT THE CANDIDATE
Entry level role and would suit someone with an Engineering background
Sound business acumen and commercial skills
An interest in technology/engineered products and systems for industrial applications
A presentable and consultative approach to sales/business development
Great verbal and written communication- and presentation skills
The ability to build long term client relationships
A full UK driving licence
