Graduate Teaching Assistant

We are looking for Graduates who are looking to gain valuable experience in schools for Teaching Assistant positions immediately! At Cover People, we work with Secondary schools across Manchester on a supply basis and provide supply teachers and support staff. We are keen to find graduates who are looking to kick start their career in Education who are looking opportunities to work within schools and make an impact to pupils whilst developing your teaching skills!
As a teaching assistant, you will be supporting the class teacher by getting classrooms ready for lessons, preparing lesson materials, recording and reporting a pupil’s progress to the teacher, helping pupils stay focused, supervising activities, helping teachers manager behaviour and providing a health and safe learning environment.
Key points
Monday - Friday school-based hours
Paid £85-£100 per day
Learn from outstanding teachers
Excellent training provided
Long term and short-term positions available
What we are looking for:
Strong academic background
Degree required 2:2 or above, Ideally in English, Maths or Science
Perfect for aspiring teachers or educational Psychologists
Previous experience working with children is highly desire
Enhanced DBS check required
