Our brand new Assembly Facility at the Rail Village at Goole represents a strong commitment from Siemens Mobility to invest in the East Riding of Yorkshire. You will be part of a large team of electrical and mechanical technicians carrying out the final manufacturing stages on a variety of train and metro systems, the first being the replacement for the London Underground Piccadilly line. You will ensure that that safety is a priority as you assembly our state of the art zero emission trains in our purpose built facility. This is the first Siemens Mobility rolling stock manufacturing facility in the UK and is expected to undergo a significant period of expansion over the next decade, providing a great deal of growth and career opportunities.

- Manufacturing, Assembly and Testing
- Quality Management and Assurance
- Production Logistics and Line Side Supply
- Industrial Engineering and Production Support Engineering
- Within the Production Team you will be engaged in understanding the mechanics and processes required to run and operate a production team operating safely and effectively.
- You will gain an understanding of how the ensuring quality of the components received and consistency of production activity leads to a quality product for our customers.
- You will spend time with out Production Scheduler, and Supply Chain Management team to understand the global nature of material sourcing, and the impact of shortages on the ability of the production team to meet it's output targets.
- Our Industrial Engineering team will involve you in the end to end process improvement, change management and manufacturing support equipment elements of a safe and efficient production facility.
We are seeking innovative and inquisitive candidates that demonstrate the following;
- Achieved or be on track to achieve a 2:2 or above in Engineering Management, Project or Engineering Degree
- Logical thinking, willing to self-learn and research, and take a creative approach to problem solving
- Ability to work independently, safely and responsibly; take ownership of challenges and ideas and are looking to develop your ability to drive and lead change
- Enjoy collaborating with others to find innovative solutions
