Job Title: Stores Operative
Contract Type: Temporary
Hourly Rate: £15.32
Are you an experienced Stores Operative looking for a new opportunity. Our client, a leading organisation in the field, is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their team. As a key member of their department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of their goods handling and distribution processes.
Responsibilities:
Receive, book-in, sort, handle, and distribute incoming goods.
Deliver materials to various locations on the College campuses.
Issue stock in accordance with inventory management policies. Requirements:
Substantial proven experience in a similar role
Clear knowledge and understanding of operational procedures and health & safety policies.
Thorough knowledge of relevant work practises and procedures
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, along with good IT skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data input
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Ability to use initiative with limited supervision to solve problems.
Previous experience in a busy environment
Familiarity with specialised equipment such as goods booking-in applications
Proven customer service skills
