Our client is committed to providing high-quality housing and maintenance services to council properties. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced maintenance electrician to join their team on a temporary basis.
Your new role
Your responsibilities will include both the upgrading and maintenance of electrical works in both residential and commercial properties, including;
Performing general electrical work, including fixing issues with existing electrical works.
Installing new electrical works as required, rewiring etc.
Conducting routine inspections and maintenance.
Responding to emergency electrical issues promptly and efficiently.
Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations.What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for an electrician who is comfortable in a maintenance environment and working with members of the public. Successful candidates will preferably have experience as a maintenance electrician in residential as well as commercial properties.Main requirements:
Proven experience as a maintenance electrician
Valid ECS Card graded to Electrician & 18th Edition
Valid UK driving licenceWhat you'll get in return
Your work schedule will be a standard Monday to Friday, (Apply online only), and you will be paid weekly. Your Hays recruitment consultant will be in touch regularly to respond to any queries or issues you may have and make sure you are kept up-to-date and informed.Benefits:
