NOV is looking to recruit a Service Supervisor Mixing to join their team based in Manchester.

Job description:
  • Coordinate the service team functions to ensure business objectives are achieved and improved upon.
  • Ensure direct technical support is provided to service teams and customers during site activity and customer industrial plant operations.
  • Ensure pre and post job briefings are conducted so that all customer requirements are understood and that risk assessments have been completed.
  • Capture lessons learned from post job reports & de-briefs and ensure all follow-up actions are concluded satisfactorily.
  • Support negotiation and resolution of disputes on contracts on behalf of the business when required.
  • Input to annual budgets and targets in line with growth strategy for the division.
  • Support the Regional Sales Managers and Reps in the development of client relationships and pursuit of new clients.
  • Foster a positive team ethos geared towards profitably satisfying client service requirements.
  • Continually review business processes to achieve improved efficiencies.
  • Develop an effective team structure.
  • Continually develop the team capacity, competency, career development and succession planning.
  • Develop the service business strategy to fully support Process & Flow Technologies strategic initiatives.
  • Provide QHSE leadership ensuring personal/team compliance with legislation and Company policies.
  • Ensure a high standard of professionalism is maintained and that customer care and a sense of urgency is foremost.
  • Maintain a high standard of housekeeping in the work area and department.
  • Be fully familiar and conversant with department and company policies, procedures and processes, ensuring all work and actions undertaken are in full compliance at all times.
  • Support other departments and carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager.
  • Travel when required as dictated by business need.
Required profile:

Essential:

  • Degree / apprenticeship in relevant engineering or technical subjects
  • Engineering apprenticeship
  • Engineering degree
EXPERIENCE
Essential:
  • Experience in a similar position 3 yrs min
  • Good working knowledge of rotating equipment and/or Oil and Gas process/production
  • Industry network knowledge
  • International travel to well-site locations
Desirable:
  • Experience of rotating equipment
SKILLS, TRAINING OR SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE
Essential:
  • Computer literacy (MS Office, networking
  • Understanding of engineering drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Full clean UK driving license
  • Passport
Desirable:
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic process
