Job Description
The Company:
W H Good Automation is a Systems Integrator/Panel Builder based in Haslingden, Lancashire. We are committed to continuous development for our employees, offering supported learning, formalised training and mentoring towards career progression.
The Role:
* Mechanical fitting e.g. drilling, punching and assembly
* Fitting electrical components within control panels
* Wiring of electrical components including power, controls voltage, PLC systems
* Reading engineering drawings
* Working to complete jobs in accordance with the design and to agreed timescales
* Adherence to the company’s health & safety rules
* Working to industry practices and company quality system
Some training may be provided, but the following would be an advantage:
* A suitable and recognised electrical apprenticeship or qualification
* Experience of fitting and assembly of panel components
* Experience of electrical wiring, maintenance or installation
* Basic electrical diagnostics capabilities
* The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Good prospects for career progression within an organisation that can offer continued support and training towards future engineering/design positions. This is an opportunity to gain experience working in a fast-paced business on a range of interesting and diverse projects.
37.5 hour week (8.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday) with overtime available.
Permanent PAYE or Contract position.
