Role Overview:
As an Electrical Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating the electrical maintenance and repair activities within the facility. Your leadership will ensure that the team operates efficiently and safely, maintaining high standards of performance and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of skilled electrical engineers.
- Plan and execute maintenance schedules to minimise downtime.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimise operational efficiency.
- Mentor and train team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Skills and Experience Required:
- A recognised electrical engineering apprenticeship (Preferably HNC but minimum ONC level or equivalent).
- Proven experience in an electrical engineering role, with a focus on maintenance and repair.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
