This advert is for two different but similar positions. As a lecturer you would deliver classroom based lessons. As an assessor you would work with apprentices both in the classroom and in their workplace. We are happy to represent you for either role.

Position: Engineering Assessor or Lecturer
Location: Berkshire
Hours: 37 per week
Salary: £39,917 - £44,091 annually
Holidays: 30 days + bank holidays About the Role
As an Engineering Skills Coach or Lecturer, you’ll manage and mentor a caseload of apprentices enrolled in Engineering Level 3-6 Apprenticeship Programmes. This will involve either classroom instruction or coaching and assessing learners to deliver comprehensive support across key engineering subjects, including engineering principles, microcontrollers, product design, and manufacturing. Key responsibilities include:
Conducting assessments and progress reviews both in-person and remotely.
Teaching engineering standards in classroom and online environments.
Supporting apprentices in achieving their full potential by coordinating “off-the-job” training and collaborating with employers to ensure alignment with workplace standards. Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates will possess a robust engineering background and a passion for education and hands-on mentoring. Requirements include:
Qualifications: Level 4 in Engineering (or equivalent), a Level 3 or higher Teaching Qualification (TQ), and ideally, an Assessor’s Award.
Experience: Professional experience in engineering sectors such as manufacturing, maintenance, or design, with a history of supporting apprentices or students from diverse backgrounds. Benefits of Working With our Client
