Business Readiness Operations Lead

Salary: circa £75,000

Location: all Aviva sites

Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in a dynamic and transformative environment? As the Business Readiness (BR) Ops Lead, you will coordinate all BR activities for Finance within one of the most Ambition transformation programme Aviva has undertaken. Your mission: ensure compliance with our robust framework, plan & orchestrate the execution of the "Readiness" plan across our organisation with timely delivery, and adherence to the highest quality standards. A bit about the job:

The Business Readiness Operations Lead will:
  • Serve as a primary contact for the Transformation Programme across our IWR Business Unit (Insurance Wealth & Retirement) and the Finance Transformation Team.
  • Plan, oversee and orchestrate Business Readiness (BR) activities, including milestones tracking, BR reporting, and risk management.
  • Manage the team of Business Readiness Business Analysts (BAs) and leverage from the stakeholders involved in the finance Transformation (Circa 140 FTEs)
  • Produce key deliverables: "Scope & Impact Assessment" and BRACs (Business Readiness Acceptance Criteria) documentation for each migration event.
  • Review and document the scope, deployment approach, and expected changes for each delivery workstream, including systems, processes, teams, and controls impacted.
  • Support the Acceptance decision of the change with the Finance leadership team

Skills & experience we're looking for:
  • Exceptional attention to detail and high-quality deliverable formalisation.
  • Extensive PMO experience in large Finance Transformation Programs, particularly in Business Readiness, including planning, action plan follow-up, reporting, and meeting facilitation.
  • Deep understanding of Finance Transformation and Finance & Insurance processes, with project exposure to accounting and financial reporting changes, actuarial transformation, system implementation, process re-engineering, and organizational changes.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with rapid deliveries and manage ambiguity effectively.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.

  • Salary around £75,000 - depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications
