Job Description
My world leading Nottinghamshire based clients are currently seeking an experienced Welder to join their incredibly busy and highly proficient team with immediate effect.
This exciting opportunity has arisen within the engineering and manufacturing team delivering on weekly targets to meet customer requirements.
The ideal candidate will be expected to TIG Weld on a varied range of components to required drawing tolerances and specifications. Assisting to resolve production and quality issues as well as having the flexibility to undertake other tasks and activities when production work is not required.
Key Accountabilities:
* Performing TIG Welding operations to required tolerances on Titanium and Stainless material.
* Working both individually and in an integrated team to ensure daily/weekly targets are met. accurately and effectively in a high-pressure manufacturing environment.
* Awareness and involvement of health, safety and environmental procedures and regulations in a production setting.
* Safely deal with any problems / discrepancies while following correct procedures. Safely deal with any problems / discrepancies while following correct procedures.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the process/cell ensuring optimum performance.
* Drive to carry out improvements/projects to reach high standards within operating cells/teams.
Hours of Work:
* 37 hours per week, operating across a 3 shift rotating pattern
Skills & Experience:
* Previous experience relevant to the role you are applying for is essential.
* NVQ Level 3 AND time served engineering apprenticeship.
* You must be able to demonstrate a professional and flexible attitude with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels.
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
* Be self-motivated with the ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team
