About the role: Are you a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant? If so, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant and inclusive school in Islington, London, where your skills can make a real difference in the lives of children. This is a unique and rewarding role designed to provide support to three specific children across two key stages:

• Morning: Work in EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) with two students:

• Student 1: Requires Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) support and assistance due to visual impairment. You may also help with administering simple medication.
• Student 2: Requires Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) support , presents with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, which may lead to occasional dysregulation.

• Afternoon: Support a Year 5 pupil in KS2 with high needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and speech development requirements.

This role demands an SEN TA with qualifications and experience in supporting children with diverse and complex needs. A nurturing, patient, and empathetic approach is essential for fostering these students' growth and learning.

Application Requirements:

• Have relevant SEN qualifications or substantial experience.

• Hold a valid DBS check or be willing to undergo one.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored one-to-one and group support for pupils with SEN.
• Assist in implementing Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) programmes.
• Support students with SEMH and ASC to ensure engagement in lessons.
• Work closely with teachers and SENCO to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment.
