Job Description
Maintenance Engineer, Lanark, Salary from £35,000 up to £40,000 per annum + Overtime!
Maintenance engineer required to work for a leading company in Structural steel fabrication and construction, covering preventative maintenance works across Lanarkshire. Maintenance engineers with an electrical bias required.
Key responsibilities
* Work as part of a team to fault find and repair breakdowns on machines and plant equipment, i.e., drills, blaster, saws, conveyors, welding units and overhead cranes.
* Carry out preventative maintenance i.e., cleaning, lubricating and adjusting equipment to ensure optimal functionality and in line with the maintenance plans, updating files accordingly.
* Adhere to electrical safety regulations to ensure a safe environment.
* Maintain records of maintenance activities such as inspection reports, repair logs, and equipment performance data.
Required Skills and Experience
* Must have a recognized trade apprenticeship or relevant electrical qualification.
* Strong working knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.
* 18th Edition qualification.
* Can carry out routine scheduled maintenance work and respond to equipment faults.
* Proficiency in electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
* The ability to handle a varied and demanding workload, also can work to strict deadlines.
