Position: Automation Engineers Activities: The development of automation solutions focuses primarily on the development of software for controlling plants. Responsibilities include: Takeover of the programming Lev1 software and the associated tests including functional commissioning at our customer’s premises. Participation and leading of meetings with SMS internal team, customers, and sub-suppliers. Qualifications: Graduate with Bachelor/Master degree in: Electronic Engineering Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering Automotive Engineering Computer Science Physics Mathematics Statistical Sciences Additional qualifications include: Proof of programming competence in PLC Automation-Systems (S7-TIA, S7-400), Rockwell, ControlLogix, Siemens TIA Portal, Beckhoff TwinCAT. Knowledge of platforms for HMI system development, Siemens SIMATIC WinCC. Good knowledge of C/C++/C#. Analytical competence and ability to work in a team. Mastery of the English language. Willingness to travel worldwide up to 4 months/year. Offer: Pay grade and salary will be commensurate with the actual competence and experience level of the candidate.
