Internship activities Manage, optimize and standardize reliability analyses to drive innovation across different train fleets managed by Alstom Services Italy. Spearhead dashboards adoption to boost efficiency in decision making, empowering management with superior data insights, and optimizing fleets reliability evaluations on continuous improvement. Integrate train diagnostics (from control rooms) with depots data to implement robust reliability and troubleshooting management models, enhancing Condition Based Maintenance and accelerating corrective maintenance operations. Educational objectives Blend strategic thinking with hands-on practicality, defining and implementing models for data analysis. Deliver quantitative results to play an active role in problem solving, driving major improvements in business process development. Immersive experience in the company from the beginning, working closely with business functions to contribute actively in designing, executing and communicating impactful and cross-functional solutions. Skills to be acquired during the internship Familiarize with large datasets to identify trends, patterns and mind-expanding connections, building proficiency in programming languages. Use tools like Power BI to effectively display findings. Communicate results to diverse audiences, including technical teams and management. Work effectively with a strong project-oriented mindset, optimizing resource management to achieve both short-term and long-term goals. Evaluate information and make autonomous data-driven decisions to create strong strategies aimed at achieving future outcomes. Gain familiarity with reliability and maintenance management principles. Work in multidisciplinary teams to build a strong network, improve collaboration and project management skills. Technical skills and personal characteristics Highly skilled problem solver excelling in a competitive environment. In addition to strong analytical and quantitative skills, the successful candidate: Is completing a degree in STEM (Master’s degree), preferably management, mathematical, or mobility engineering. Has proven record of driving impactful data analysis projects during her/his academic journey. Has the willingness to learn and adapt to a structured and complex corporate environment. Has a genuine passion for data analysis and project management. Has the ability to structure and communicate complex ideas sharply and the potential to thrive in fast-paced, project-oriented and collaborative environments, consistently meeting ambitions and high expectations with initiative and hard work.
