Senior Supply Chain Practitioner: Contract Management And Administration Of Logis Payments

JOB DESCRIPTION Receive Bid/ tender documents from Division Demand and Acquisition Notify the successful service provider by sending the approved appointment letter Prepare contract forms and issue to successful bidders Prepare service level agreement in conjunction with the client Implement standard operating procedures, SCM policy, and delegations of authority in contract management Ensure that both client and service provider sign contract forms and SLAs Oversee that the lease contract and awarded contract register are updated Compile circular regarding new treasury/ DPSA directives and inform officials of those directives Partake and ensure adherence to SCM prescripts during specification meetings Ensure that Auditors Generals recommendations are implemented as per the instruction Ensure the printing and registering of all invoices upon receipt Put a date stamp on the invoice Distribute to the officials responsible for payments Ensure the invoice tracking is done daily Perform the pre-authorization of payments Follow-up on outstanding invoices Ensure that what we have paid reconciles with the statements Provide service providers with payment stubs Provide reasons to management on invoices paid after 30 days and invoice more than 30 days and not paid Submit contract statistics to management on weekly basis Compile consolidated lease reports for the department Compile and update SLA status register Compile consolidated Financial reports for the department JOB REQUIREMENTS QUALIFICATIONS Applicants must be in possession of a Grade 12 (Matric Certificate) and Degree/ National Diploma in Purchasing Management/ Supply Chain Management (SCM)/ Public Administration (Management)/ Logistics Management / Business Management (Administration). A minimum of three (3) years of experience working in Contract Management and Payment management environment. Job-ready knowledge: Supply Chain Framework Act Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) Treasury Regulations PPPFA and its associated regulations.
