Job Description

THE OPPORTUNITY

Qualitative development for wholesale distribution network, turnover and monitoring of the US market.

YOUR MISSIONS

Market penetration and development:

  • Strategically design a plan of action to develop current assigned market and find qualitative opportunities for growth.
  • Accelerate revenue growth and provide solutions to achieve it.

Evaluate the opportunities for implementation:

  • Explore and exploit the potential of new locations.
  • Monitor, manage, and animate existing partnerships.

Management of Distribution performance:

  • Define budgets based on seasonal and annual objectives.
  • Plan and carry out/follow up on customer meetings and develop turnover in line with the brand image.
  • Monitor weekly and monthly sales reports; analyze the business to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Negotiate commercial conditions with turnover ambitions with the support of Management.
  • Regular meetings with key players in wholesale accounts.
  • Conduct in-depth qualitative research for prospects for new customers and new doors depending on the country.
  • Weekly control of payments and relative deliveries.
  • Monitor weekly deliveries.
  • Track all payments, minimize delays, and reduce pending invoices in collaboration with the Accounting department.
  • Monitor collection deliveries with the ADV department.

Monitoring and animation of Distribution:

  • Visit stores to ensure that the brand image and strategy are respected and debrief business trips focusing on performance indicators.
  • Conduct seasonal training for wholesale accounts to involve and raise awareness among salespeople about the product and the inspiration of the collection.
  • Monitor pricing and discount policy of Accounts: E-retailers & department stores, wholesale network.
  • Ensure compliance with brand image and consistency on our wholesale accounts platforms.

Reporting:

  • Establish regular reporting on performance (Sell Out / deliveries / payments).
  • Establish a post-showroom report with analysis of business & product performance.
  • Conduct regular market benchmarks, brand positioning, prices, competition.
  • Work with the ADV department to analyze customer requests and improve sales performance; identify and provide solutions to problems encountered by customers.

Collaboration with the sales coordinator and intern on the following missions:

  • Monitor and coordinate weekly accounts reporting.
  • Monitor and implement sales department coordination tools.
  • Swap/restocking/returns monitoring.
  • Monitor order-taking conditions after each showroom.
  • Update the customer database.
  • Develop collection training for our customers in collaboration with merchandising.

Support - showroom coordination:

  • Support in monitoring agenda and general flow of upcoming sales campaigns.
  • Support sales team during appointments, selling ceremonies, and closing orders.
YOUR PROFILE

Training and level of experience required: Business school, specialized with strong experience in a luxury house in the wholesale business (minimum 5 years).

Required qualities: Great capacity for work in a demanding environment; excellent knowledge of the luxury fashion and wholesale sector; essential team spirit; business, communication, and interpersonal skills; responsiveness, autonomy, versatility, and punctuality; ability to travel; analytical skills; product sense.

Languages: Excellent level of English and French essential. A third language would be a plus.
