Senior Project Controls Engineer - Construction Projects

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Project Controls Engineer to undertake duties within our French team. You will support projects across the Industrial, Science & Technology sector. This is an excellent opportunity to join our Life Science division, with a broad range of clients and interesting projects to work on.

The Project Controls Engineer will work as part of our Project Controls team on high-profile Large-Scale Construction projects, providing co-ordination across a number of project controls functions including:

1. Planning


2. Risk


3. Change


4. Cost

This may be part of a large team or as the key day-to-day contact point with the client. Previous experience working in a project controls environment within Pharma, O&G, Nuclear, Chemicals is required, as is experience in at least one of the following:

1. Programme Controls Management


2. Earned Value (EVM)


3. Change & Risk Management


4. Planning


5. Project Controls and/or PMO

Apply best practices / principles of cost management including:

1. Estimating


2. VFM


3. Controlling costs


4. Baseline management


5. Forecasting


6. Performance measurement


7. Change control

Qualifications

Degree educated, with previous industry & sector experience being essential.

Previous experience of the following tools (or one of) is also required:

1. Oracle Primavera


2. MS Project


3. Excel


4. PRISM (Cost Management System)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French & English are necessary. Being rigorous in following documented processes and governance is essential, as well as the ability to innovate in creative ways to meet the challenges of the changing project environment.
