Shift Pattern: 24/7 or Panama shift pattern (12 hr shifts) day and night shifts

Salary: £50,000

The Role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer - with Electrical Bias to join my clients friendly team at their site based in Leicestershire.

You’ll be an integral member of the Engineering function providing a comprehensive electrical, mechanical and maintenance engineering service to safely sustain and improve production operating efficiencies in line with the continued growth of the business.

As a Multi- Skilled Engineer your responsibilities will include:

• Repairing and maintaining production and ancillary equipment, property and facilities ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum and in line with the requirements of the production process and plan
• Creating PPM schedules, maintaining accurate maintenance records and completing data entry records within appropriate timescales
• Acting as host for Contractors working on site ensuring that all necessary documentation is available and completed and that safe working practices are agreed prior to commencement of work
• Responding to requests from production and Maintenance Leads for engineering assistance, monitoring visual management boards to ensure priority items are dealt with
• Working with the production teams to improve their capability and knowledge of the equipment
• Ability to quickly identify problems, perform root cause analysis to stop repeat failures
• Following policies and procedures in conjunction with the food quality management system and retailer-specific technical standards
