Job Specification: Global Social Media Manager / Netherlands Remote

Overview
The Global Social Media Manager will lead social media efforts across EMEA and APAC regions, working closely with the Brand and Communications team to align with the company's overarching social strategy. This individual will manage all social media platforms, create engaging content, analyse performance metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue generation. The role requires a strategic thinker adept at understanding regional market dynamics and cultural nuances while driving innovative campaigns.

Key Responsibilities



Strategic Oversight

  • Collaborate to refine and implement social media strategies, monitoring content effectiveness.
  • Analyse social media performance to inform long-term strategies and campaign optimisation.
  • Tailor campaigns to regional market trends and cultural preferences while aligning with global objectives.
  • Identify emerging social trends to expand audience engagement and maintain a competitive edge.

Content Creation & Campaign Management

  • Develop and manage content for global social channels to promote courses, training, certifications, and summits.
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to deploy regional campaigns, achieving both B2B and B2C goals.
  • Work with creative and content teams to produce compelling multimedia assets, including blogs, videos, and graphics.
  • Utilise tools such as Sprout and Google Analytics to schedule posts, monitor engagement, and analyse performance.
  • Foster community engagement by responding to inquiries and cultivating a positive online presence.

Performance Analysis & Reporting

  • Create dashboards and reports showcasing the impact of social media on site traffic, audience growth, and course registrations.
  • Track ROI for advertising campaigns, ensuring optimal budget allocation and performance.
  • Research new tools and techniques to enhance measurement and reporting capabilities.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as a strategic advisor for EMEA and APAC social strategies, offering insights and support to global teams.
  • Build relationships with internal teams, including Security Research and curriculum teams, to align content with industry trends.
  • Foster partnerships with influencers and key stakeholders within the cybersecurity community to amplify outreach.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on social media best practices.

Community Engagement

  • Engage with followers by fostering conversations, addressing queries, and promoting a positive community presence.
  • Manage partnerships with external stakeholders to expand the company's reach within the cybersecurity ecosystem.

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Expertise in managing social media platforms and tools such as Google Analytics and Facebook Insights.
  • Strong understanding of regional market dynamics and cultural considerations within EMEA and APAC.
  • Experience in B2B and B2C campaign development, particularly in a technology-driven industry.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Budget management experience for social advertising initiatives.
