English Lecturer – Northamptonshire
We're seeking a dynamic English Lecturer to deliver GCSE resit and Functional Skills English classes. This is a full-time, permanent role at the scenic College, nestled in the English countryside.
Role: English Lecturer
Contract: Permanent
Location: Northamptonshire
Salary: £33,000 - £39,900/ annum
Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and comprehensive English GCSE and Functional Skills lessons.
You will need good classroom control experience
Assess and evaluate student progress, providing guidance and extra tuition where necessary
Contribute to curriculum development.

Requirements:
Need Min level 3 English, ideally a relevant degree
Experience delivering GCSE English or Functional Skills English, ideally within an FE Setting
Experience teaching ESOL (ideal but not necessary)
Possess a recognised level 5 Teaching Qualification (DET) or are willing to work towards one
You will need your own transport as the college is hard to get to by public transport
Willingness to undergo a DBS check (done by the college)
