Job Description
My client is looking for an experienced Fabricator Welder to join our team of highly skilled engineers.
Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role:
-Fabrication and development of Steel Fabrications, Pipework, Framework and Structural Steelwork
-MIG Welding with a range of material including Mild Steel, Aluminium & Stainless Steel.
-Operation of workshop equipment including guillotines, drills, saws, punches.
-Adherence to all Health & Safety policies and procedures
-Provide guidance to apprentices and work well with all the team
-Completion of quality procedures and route cards
Experience required:
-5 Years experience (this includes time-served apprenticeship employment)
-Experienced fabrication shop background
-Fully understand engineering drawings
-Be competent MIG/ MMA
-Have experience in using various fabrication equipment including guillotines, punches & press brakes. (Training can be provided where necessary)
-Must be able to work well within a team
-Experience in the welding of a variety of materials such as Mild Steel, Aluminium and Stainless Steel
-Proven fabrication competency skills and certification
-Ability to work unsupervised and possess a logical and thorough approach to all aspects of H&S and production
-Good Health and Safety awareness and experience

-Good communication skills
-Team working skills
-Positive proactive attitude and flexibility
-Ability to prioritise
-A Positive proactive attitude towards all aspects
-A willingness to continually Improve
Excellent rates of pay and progression opportunities on offer
Working hours Monday - Thursday 07:45 - 16:45 and Friday 07:45 - 14:15
