Job Description
Are you a recent graduate or someone with a some finance experience already, looking to advance your career? Our client is on the lookout for a Finance Assistant to join a dynamic team! They are a leading name in their industry, known for their expertise in repairs, consultancy, testing, and training.
To be considered for the role, you’ll require the following essentials:
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Understanding of Manufacturing or Engineering would be advatageous
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Good communication skills, with a proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Familiarity with accounting software is a plus!
Within this position, you’ll also be:
Assisting in the preparation of financial reports.
Performing account reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
Supporting month-end closing processes.
Maintaining and updating financial records and documentation.
Resolving discrepancies and handling account-related enquiries.
Gaining exposure to payroll, journal postings, and debtors control.
Contributing to the continuous improvement of our accounting processes.
Salary & Working Hours
£25,000 - £30,000 dependant on experience
Comprehensive benefits package, including private medical care and pension.
Monday to Friday 37 hours per week
