Electrical Engineer
Our Client is looking for a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join the team. With a strong electrical bias, you will play a critical role in resolving mechanical and electrical issues efficiently, ensuring minimal downtime. This is a hands-on role that requires expertise with tools and equipment, as well as experience working in manufacturing, processing, warehouse, or cold store environments.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical problems promptly to maintain operations.
Utilise power tools, including drills, grinders, cutting equipment, saws, files, and presses.
Safely work using ladders, steps, and walkways to access equipment and systems.
Handle hot or cold equipment while following strict safe systems of work and wearing appropriate PPE.
Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections to enhance equipment reliability.
Ensure all work is performed in compliance with health and safety regulations.Requirements
Electrical Bias: Formal electrical qualifications and/or a time-served apprenticeship.
Experience: A minimum of 4 years in a manufacturing, processing, warehouse, or cold store industry.
Proficiency with power tools and equipment used in engineering environments.
Strong knowledge of safety procedures, PPE, and risk assessments.
