Career-Bridge Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join a successful thriving Devon based construction company to help lead and shape their growth journey.

As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the company’s capabilities and expanding its client base, working closely with project teams to ensure exceptional project delivery.
Duties
* Responsible for optimising business growth
* Identify, source and target new sales opportunities
* Managing and maintaining existing client base
* Building strong client relationships
* Lead the preparation and delivery of sales presentations, proposals and bid submissions.
* Manage and maintain relationships with an existing client base while building strong, lasting partnerships
* Lead the preparation and delivery of impactful sales presentations, proposals, and bid submissions
* Collaborate closely with project teams to align client expectations and project outcomes.
* Monitor and report on sales performance, adapting strategies to meet or exceed targets.
* Utilize strong expertise in sales, marketing, and digital platforms to strengthen the company’s market presence
What you will need
* Proven experience as a Business Development Manager within the construction industry
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead teams effectively
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
* A dynamic, results-driven approach to business development
* In-depth understanding of construction processes and the ability to discuss technical details with clients and colleagues
* Demonstrated expertise in sales and marketing strategies, including digital platforms and social media
* A passion for the construction industry and a proactive, problem-solving mindset

* A competitive salary from £40,000 – £50,000 per annum
