Are you an organised and confident individual with a passion for education? LTF Recruitment is seeking a reliable Cover Supervisor to join a large, vibrant secondary school in Tower Hamlets. As a Cover Supervisor, you'll step in to manage classrooms in the absence of regular teachers, ensuring that students stay on task and engaged with their work. This role is ideal for someone who is looking to gain valuable classroom experience or for recent graduates considering a career in teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and manage classrooms, following pre-set lesson plans across Key Stages 3 and 4
Ensure students remain focused and engaged in their work, promoting positive behaviour and a productive atmosphere
Assist students with questions and provide general guidance to support their learning
Maintain classroom order, reporting any issues or incidents to senior staff as needed
Collaborate with teachers and pastoral staff to support student progress and behaviour management
Step into various subjects, adapting to different classes and age groups as requiredAbout the School:

Degree or qualifications in a related field
Knowledge of safeguarding practices and classroom management strategiesAdditional Information:
Full-time role, Monday to Friday
Paid up to £140 per day, term time only
