As a Business Development Executive, you’ll play a pivotal role in growing our private-sector portfolio and progressing your career within a dynamic, mission-driven organisation.

What You’ll Do

Generate and Qualify Leads: Manage inbound and outbound leads, identifying opportunities to drive business growth.

Client Engagement: Build strong relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs and crafting tailored pitches.

Sales Pipeline Management: Partner with the Head of New Business to move leads through the sales funnel, following a structured process to close deals.

Multi-Channel Outreach: Leverage email, LinkedIn, and cold calling to engage prospects and secure meetings with stakeholders.

Proposal Development: Create compelling presentations, proposals, and bespoke pitches that align with client requirements.

Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure alignment and track progress using Salesforce.

Industry Representation: Attend conferences and networking events to expand your connections and raise the profile of Social Value Portal.

What You’ll Bring

Proven success in B2B sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.

Experience working in a SaaS, Technology or Professional Services environment.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to craft compelling pitches.

Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

Energetic, goal-oriented, and self-motivated, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.

An understanding of Social Value, ESG, or CSR is an advantage.

A base salary up to £50,000, with an OTE of up to £100,000 DOE.

Location and Hours:

Location: London-based, hybrid working (3 days office-based).
Hours: Full-time, permanent.
Salary: £45,000–£50,000 basic, with an OTE of £90,000–£100,000 (depending on experience).
