Sociology Graduate - Teaching Assistant (SEND School, Liverpool)
Location: Liverpool
Position Type: Full-Time, Long-Term
Salary: £75 - £90 per day (dependent on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment is thrilled to offer an opportunity for a driven individual to work as a Teaching Assistant in an inspiring SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) school in Liverpool.
About the Role:
This role offers a unique chance to apply your sociological knowledge and understanding of human behaviour to make a tangible difference in the lives of children with SEND. You'll:
Provide one-to-one and group support for pupils with a range of needs, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges, and other additional needs.
Assist teachers in creating engaging and accessible lessons tailored to each student's abilities.
Help foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment where every student can thrive.
Support the development of student's social, communication, and emotional skills, helping them overcome barriers to learning.
Contribute to the school community with your fresh ideas and compassionate approach.About You:
We're seeking someone enthusiastic, empathetic, and dedicated to improving the educational experience for young people with SEND. The ideal candidate will have:
A degree in Sociology or a related field.
A keen interest in supporting students with additional needs and a commitment to inclusion.
The ability to build strong, positive relationships with pupils and staff.
A proactive mindset, patience, and resilience in the face of challenges.
