Job Description
B2B Account Manager role, growing and maintaining existing business customers

An exciting opportunity to structure a new role within a long-established business Duties include:
Researching and identifying business opportunities
Selling products and services to new existing business customers through various methods, developing relationships and setting up meetings
Looking after an established base of clients, growing relationships and levels of business year on year
Being the first port of contact for incoming enquiries
Speaking with key contacts within businesses over the telephone and forming new contacts within those accounts
Networking via social media and events, including attending exhibitions
Maintaining relationships with clients by providing support, information and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities and service improvements
Identifying product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
Working with internal teams to assist with projects and key clients
Preparing reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising information
Logging information on various systems You will need:
Recent account management experience and success within a sales-orientated role; ability to build relationships and make a positive impact
A proven track record of account growth; managing your own portfolio of clients
Experience of researching and developing new business
Creative thinking, excellent presentation and negotiation skills
Ability to speak with key contacts, gaining increased business levels
Experience of driving an account management programme
Excellent telephone manner, excellent communication skills
