Job Description
Langley Trusthas an exciting volunteer opportunity for a patient and positive educator to join us in the role of Volunteer Literacy and Numeracy Mentor at our housing and resettlement services where we support clients with multiple needs.
We are looking for individuals to work with clients to develop Literacy and Numeracy skills to meet self-identified targets which will help them to improve their self-esteem, fulfil their own potential and equip them for move-on and even into employment.
Have you the time to spend half a day a week or more to help our clients build the skills they need to make positive and lasting changes in their lives. Do you love supporting others to achieve their own learning journey, then we would love to hear from you.

- Delivering a literacy programme such as Toe by Toe, or another programme that is suitable for each client's need.
- To research, develop and deliver suitable numeracy programmes according to the need of the client.
- To encourage and support the client.
- To report client engagement and outcomes to the Service Manager or staff team.
