Job Description
Role - Maths Teacher
Location - Canterbury
Tradewind Recruitment are actively seeking a highly skilled Maths teacher for a good comprehensive school in the Canterbury area. The role is for a January 2025 start until the end of the academic year with the option of permanent from September 2025. The salary is between £31,650 and £49,084 - full time!
The role:
Deliver high quality Maths lessons to students of varying abilities across KS3 and KS4
Create dynamic lessons that promote active learning and critical thinking
Provide individualised support to students to ensure academic success
Attend Departmental meetings and parents evenings when requiredRequirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience as a Maths Teacher in a secondary school environment
Strong subject knowledge
Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
