Role: 1:1 Support for KS1 Student
Hours: 08:45 – 16:45 (Fridays until 16:00), Monday to Friday, term-time only
Pay: From £95.29 per day
Position Type: Temporary
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a Key Stage 1 student with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at a specialist ASD provision. This role is ideal for a graduate with experience in primary education who is passionate about supporting young learners with additional needs.
Responsibilities:
• Provide tailored support to meet the individual needs of a KS1 student with ASD
• Facilitate learning, engagement, and social development in a safe and structured environment
• Work closely with the classroom teacher and support staff to implement individualised learning strategies
Candidate Requirements:
• Experience in a UK primary education setting (preferred)
• ASD experience
• Confident with personal care
• Strong verbal communication skills in English
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (Child and Adult Workforce)
