Graduate Teaching Assistant
Upminster, Havering
£500-£550 per week (depending on qualifications and experience)
Starting November 2024
Vision for Education are looking to appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant to work at a school Multi-Academy Trust Secondary school in Havering. This is a full-time role, ideal for a Graduate Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting students who need additional support with their learning and studies. Mentor students who are preparing for their GCSE and A-Level exams, supporting them in your specialist subject. To start in November, this position has the potential to become a permanent role through the trust as a trainee teacher.
The role
The successful Graduate Teaching Assistant will be a passionate and proactive individual, capable of building good relationships with pupils and staff. Working in KS3-KS5, they must have a good understanding of the curriculum and be able to support students across core subjects.

Requirements
To be considered for the Graduate Teaching Assistant position, you will:
Have experience working with students aged 11-18
Bachelor’s degree in a core subject area (English, Maths, Science, Humanities)
Have excellent behaviour management skills
Be a confident communicator, able to use your own initiative when required
