CDM Recruitment are delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Architectural Technologist to join an award-winning, multidisciplinary architecture practice based in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Successful candidates will be given the opportunity to apply their experience and ingenuity to our clients diverse project portfolio, including healthcare, community, commercial, residential, and education projects.

As a Graduate Architectural Technologist, you will have:

• A degree in Architectural Technology or a related qualification
• Strong foundational skills in Revit and AutoCAD
• Experience producing detailed construction and planning application drawings
• A basic understanding of UK Planning and Building Regulations and a keen interest in furthering this knowledge
• Some site experience, such as involvement in inspections or assisting with contract management, which would be beneficial

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

• Working within a Revit and BIM environment, with guidance from experienced team members
• Assisting project leads in managing and overseeing projects
• Supporting the production of accurate and timely technical drawings
• Liaising with clients and the project team, with mentorship to develop client communication skills
• Contributing to the preparation of planning applications and building regulation drawings
• Assisting in site surveys and the evaluation of site conditions
• Participating in design and project meetings and assisting with notes or minutes as needed
