As part of our vibrant Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) department, you’ll have access to dedicated playgrounds, fostering both physical activity and joyful learning. Our staff and Governors are a hardworking, caring, and committed team who believe in preparing children for both academic and personal success. With high expectations for our students and ourselves, we strive to create a respectful, positive environment where everyone can thrive.

About the role:

As an EYFS Teacher, you’ll play a pivotal role in building a foundation for our youngest learners, guiding them through their first steps in formal education. Supported by experienced Teaching Assistants, you’ll have the freedom to create a stimulating and engaging curriculum, blending play-based learning with structured activities that meet the unique needs of each child.

We’re looking for a teacher who can bring creativity, patience, and a love of learning to the classroom, making every day an exciting new adventure for our students. In this part-time role, you’ll have the chance to balance work with your other commitments while making a meaningful difference in the lives of children.

Application Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a focus on EYFS or Primary Education.
• Prior experience working within an EYFS setting, ideally with a diverse student population.
• A passion for fostering curiosity and resilience in early learners.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with families and team members.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, child-centered lessons that promote curiosity, confidence, and a love for learning.
• Create a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages social, emotional, and academic growth.
• Collaborate closely with TAs and other EYFS staff to enhance classroom activities and individualize instruction.
• Monitor and record each child’s progress, providing feedback to parents and carers to keep them involved in their child’s journey.
• Contribute to our vibrant school community by participating in school events and continuous professional development.

Perks and Benefits:

At our school, you’ll be part of a close-knit team that values growth, diversity, and professional support. Enjoy regular CPD opportunities, a warm and welcoming staff culture, and the satisfaction of working within an inclusive community. We’re also easily accessible by public transport, with ample onsite parking for those who drive. If you’re ready to make a lasting impact in a school that values innovation and personal connection, we’d love to hear from you!
