The Opportunity


As a dedicated Marketing Campaigns Manager Lead, you will lead the creation, facilitation and / or execution of highly complex and/or critical marketing campaigns/projects across multiple channels including - but not limited to - media, direct, sponsorships and digital. Responsible for one or more of the following areas: ongoing management of agency resources; creating, managing and/or executing campaigns; and/or managing budgets. Collaborate and develop partnerships with various internal and external resources to develop and deliver marketing communications for one or more of the following: go-to-market plans; integrated tactical plans; project plans, milestone schedules; and/or creative strategy.


This position can work remotely in the continental U.S. with occasional business travel.


What you'll do:




  • Leads the development and oversees overall project management of multiple, highly complex and/or critical marketing campaigns and plans.




  • Effectively directs Agency to ensure alignment with goals and prioritization.




  • Leads, coordinates and gains alignment with peers, enterprise partners and senior management.




  • Oversees communication of program, project and /or campaign through various reports/tool as required.




  • Serves as the primary resource for cross functional team members on high priority matters of a unique nature.




  • Applies expert knowledge of marketing principles.




  • Identifies opportunities and drives to optimize performance against marketing objectives.




  • Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.




What you have:




  • Bachelor’s Degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.




  • 8 or more years of experience in a marketing, sales, advertising and/or communications function, to include at least 4 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: direct response, sponsorships/events marketing, advertising, sales, communications, digital or overall campaign management.




  • Subject-matter-expert knowledge of marketing industry and practices.




  • Demonstrated leadership in influencing business decisions.




  • Demonstrated experience facilitating cross-functional teams.




  • Demonstrated success in leading, influencing, motivating and collaborating with key stakeholders.




  • Subject-matter-expert knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.




What sets you apart:




  • Expertise in developing and executing outbound SMS campaigns, with comprehensive knowledge of the entire end-to-end process, including TCPA, DNC/DNS, vendor management, and industry best practices.




  • Experience with evaluating and testing SMS components, including content, format, phone numbers, offers, segmentation, as well as A/B testing.




  • Ability to leverage customer data and segmentation to personalize messages and enhance relevance.




  • Ability to oversee third party vendors for budget evaluation, production management, and campaign implementation, while fostering strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and efficiency.




  • Capability to collaborate with team members and cross-functional teams to guarantee the effective execution of campaigns, encompassing creative development, audience growth, and analytics.




  • US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner

What we offer:


Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location. The salary range for this position is: $109,130 - $208,580.


Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
