With its wide technical expertise, SMS group S.p.A. is specialized in the production of innovative and turn-key plants, such as: Hot and cold rolling mills for flat products Process lines Reheating furnaces Heat treatment lines Rolling mills for long products Meltshops Continuous casting machines Our Center of Excellence Electrics/Automation is looking for a YOU ACT : The development of automation solutions mainly focuses on equipment control: VVVF motors, Hydraulic unit and stands, MCC, safety management for plants of rolling mills and processing lines; Takeover of the programming Lev1 software and the associated tests including the functional commissioning at our customer’s premises; Participation and leading of meetings with SMS internal team, Customers, Sub-Suppliers. YOU KNOW: Graduate or Bachelor/Master degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with fundamental knowledge in Power supply, Drives, Motors, Instrumentation; Proof of programming competence in the PLC Automation-Systems (S7-TIA, S7-400); Analytical competence and ability to work in a team; Very good English language skills; Knowledge of MS Office; Willingness to travel worldwide; Drive license.
