Senior Design Engineer - Valves

Your new company Our client is a multi-national company engaged in the engineering, manufacturing, and servicing of advanced technology fluid handling and control equipment in a variety of markets worldwide. The products of the company include pumps, valves, mechanical seals, and related services. Your new role We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer for the preparation and execution of complete valve design, machining drawings, and calculations of ball valves. The person will also provide support to all the other engineering facilities along the organization for the same product families: Preparation of valve assemblies and machining drawings; Cooperation with supervisor and engineering manager; Technical evaluation of standard and customer specifications; Execution of design deliverables in compliance with quality standards and Quality system; Capability to analyze and review customer specifications; Cooperate with production and other departments in the organization; Cooperate with other sites; Enterprise mindset and willingness to go above and beyond customer expectations. What you'll need to succeed Graduated in Mechanical Engineering or having a technical diploma in the mechanical field; Experience of minimum 5 years in Ball Valve design; Good knowledge of software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Ansys; Experience in the same industry; Good organizational skills; Ability to relate to others; Ability to relate to people outside the company; Good knowledge of English and/or Italian.
